Migraine and Chronic Pain

I have suffered from chronic pain since a car accident in 1999. Numerous physicians have treated me for my pain. They have all overlooked the determining factors that cause my pain. In May of 2007, I sought an alternative approach to treating my headaches, migraines, and pain because I was tired of treating the symptoms of my pain rather than facing what was causing my chronic pain. I knew that if I continued to treat only my symptoms, I would need to be on medication forever, and this is not what I wanted for myself. After some research, I found Dr. Lai, who offered services in offering alternative natural medicine techniques and approaches, such as herbal medication, chiropractic, acupuncture, cupping, and many other services.

It took eight years to find a Doctor such as Dr. Lai who took the time to evaluate my concerns; give me answers to what exactly was causing my headaches, migraines, and pain; develop a plan of action to get better; and TRULY give me HOPE that I would not have to suffer from this pain forever. After a short period of time, his natural approach to medicine and individualized care plan has given me my life back without the constant agony of headaches, migraines, and pain. I wish there were more physicians in the medical industry who took the time to develop a care plan customized to each person individual needs, like Dr. Lai has done for me.
